Buffs and Materials

Potions and Reagents

  • Arcane Dust
  • Mana Pots
  • Healing Pots

Healing pots might seem questionable, but it does happen every now and so often that it saves you, either a healer is asleep for a few secs or your designated healer is out of range.

They might share CD with your mana pots and therefore seem overall bad for your damage, but theres one universal truth to mage DPS, and that is "A dead mage do not damage". And there will be alot of periodic damage on many of the encounters we see, so they can save your ass. So bring them, if you end up using none, then you just have them ready for next time.

Genneral stuff

Showing up with the right potions

I expect all to be reasonable in raids, and bring the apropriate stuff. I also expect you to be a little selfaware to what you bring, this gennerally means that bringing a Unstable Flask of the Sorcerer to Karazhan or 40 Bottled Nethergon Energy to any other instances than the eye, is not acceptable just becouse i did not explicitly write so here. In other words i expect that my mages have some common sence.

Build towards PvE

I expect all mages to prioritize on builds that is primarily PvE, i don't have anything agains mages taking a few bits that is more PvP oriented as long as there overall build leans towards PvE and that the PvP bits could also be very usefull in PvE, although maybe not as much as they are in PvP.

It is very simple, if we wan't to progress in PvE, we need to top our self at that.

Also, for encounters where we meet bosses that are immune to fire or frost, do not show up fully speced in that tree, if you don't have the gold to respec, then thry a hybrid build out for some time. Since that makes you at least a bit usefull.
